Be Aware of Horse Scams
Remember the Saying "If its sounds to good to be true, it probably is"
A common scam right now is a Cashiers Check that is counter fit. Sometimes larger then the price
of the horse and they may even ask you to refund the difference. Often the people making the
purchase is for a client or third party. The scams can include bad English and mis-spellings and
aren't always specific about what they are inquiring about.
Here are a few scam e-mails that I have had sent to me requesting info about my horses:
"Do still have this advert Sale.....let me know its present condition if you still have it for sale ok....
I look forward to read back from you soon.
Thank's."
"Greeting to you There,
My name Is _______,I saw your advert list for sale,i want to know the present condition of the
advert and i want you to get back to me with some closer looking pics of it,I look forward to hear
from you soon,Thank's"
